I really hoped that September flying by would mean that we were done with the warm weather and chilly fall weather would come this way. Unfortunately the first day of October was 80 degrees in DC. So there’s that. Don’t worry though, I’m still in full Fall mode regardless, like the basic B I am.
arranging
My bathroom drawers and closet. Guess who decide to read The Home Edit’s book for a little light reading? This girl! And it totally inspired me to get back to organizing. I may have gone a little crazy, but my bathroom is going to look so good soon.
loving
My gravity blanket and sleeping in. I’ve been sleeping with it on my bed a lot more recently and it’s been so good with helping me fall asleep faster (at least in my mind). You really just feel so cozy, like you’re in a big hug (it’s worth every penny). Adding to that, I’ve also been allowing myself to sleep in more on weekends and it’s been kind of nice. Normally I would make myself get up early and get things done, but I’ve been sleeping in and you know what? I need the sleep and things still get done. If there’s a reason I need to get up early, I do, no problem. But really, with all of the babysitting that I do, I’ve realized I should really be taking advantage of the time I don’t have kids and actually CAN sleep in.
embracing
The color rust. It’s the color of….right now? But I want everything in rust right now (it wasn’t in my September budget, but it’ll definitely be in my October budget). My shirts, earrings, sweaters. Everything. And to think, just a few years ago, I wouldn’t have gone anywhere near this color.
purchasing
I totally went on a pumpkin spree at Trader Joe’s last weekend. As a an apology (for the silliest thing), my boyfriend agreed to take my to Trader Joe’s to buy all the pumpkin things. I don’t think he realized what he was getting into. He tried to cut me off after three items. HA. Joke’s on him. Needless to say, I don’t think he’s ever going to agree to get all the pumpkin things ever again. But everything tastes so delicious, I just don’t care.

Four Weddings and a Funeral on Hulu. If you haven’t watched it, I don’t know what you’ve been doing. Stop and go watch Four Weddings and a Funeral. If you’re expecting the movie, don’t. I haven’t watched the movie, but from what I’ve been told the only thing they have in common is the title and Andie MacDowell (who only makes a guest appearance in the remake and how the heck did I remember her name off the top of my head). This remake is absolutely delightful though and 10 hours of your life you won’t regret.
As always, linking up with Anne In Residence.
