Do Something Good

Do you read The Skimm? It’s what’s I read on a daily basis to stay up to date on the news. But in addition to that, they also partner with other organizations to bring you discounts and other opportunities.

Their latest partnership though is one I can really get behind. They’re helping to promote For a Day Foundation by sharing their upcoming events, online silent auction, and local chapters that you can join. In case you weren’t aware, For a Day Foundation helps children with cancer by providing them with a few hours of an escape and distraction. They host parties in hospitals, with firefighters and police officers and give mini make overs. They do whatever they can to cheer up the children and distract them from their on going treatments.

The Skimm and For a Day Foundation put together this incredibly handy site that you can use as a reference to see all of the various ways that you can get involved with this incredible organization. From donating your money to your time, there’s an easy way for everyone to give back a little.
