This was definitely the month of great deals and found money! It seemed like everything I bought went on an even deeper sale right after I got it, allowing my price adjustment tendencies to go into overdrive. Seriously. I price-adjusted basically every Old Navy and J.Crew item listed up there. On top of that, it was finally time for my holiday season Ebates check to come in! Remember how spendy I was in December? Well that finally paid off. My Ebates check was $102 (wahoo).
I also remembered that I had a nice chunk of Poshmark credit that I had never cashed out, so I decided to finally cash out that balance too (if you decide to try out poshmark sign up with code JSHNA to get $10 off your first order). It helped to even out my budget pretty nicely. It was also nice to not have as many “uncertain” items that I was carrying over into March as well.
Now the reason question is, do we actually think I’m going to clean out my closet in March? I wanted to in February, but I ended up having no item to do that. So will March be when it happens?
What did you get this month? I’d love to hear about it!
PS I was also thinking about adding a link up to my budget posts. One of my favorite bloggers, Franish use to do a monthly budget link up, but she has stopped doing them since. I really miss them though and seeing what everyone’s budget looks like! Would you like if I started up something like that here?
