Part 2! Fall Styles at J.Crew Factory! I really wasn’t sure if we would get here. Fall Styles at J.Crew honestly started to get so long, I thought I needed to break this up into two parts. Personally, I think it was a great idea. Now, we get to take another dive into the fall styles at J.Crew Factory, which personally, I think just keep getting better.
Fall Styles at J.Crew Factory
J.Crew Factory Tie-waist flannel shirtdress, White Navy Plaid, XS
Last year I purchased one amazing flannel dress and it’s kind of given me a craving for more. I really splurged on that dress though, so I knew I couldn’t go all out with the other ones though. This one at J.Crew Factory was a great balance of that. It was a soft and lighter weight flannel that actually fit well. The tie waist was a fun little twist that made it also stand out from other dresses that I’ve seen before.
The only thing that’s making me iffy is that it’s a white base, which I don’t typically do in the winter (because I love black tights), but I think with a white slip, it’ll be fine.
Verdict: Keep
J.Crew Factory Wrap-front bodysuit, Ivory XS
I told you I loved my bodysuits! The only thing that’s making me iffy about this one is that it’s a little loose at the bottom of the wrap. I think I had that problem with the navy one though. I think some double stick tape can fix that though!
Verdict: Keep
J.Crew Factory Printed midi skirt, Versailles Floral Black, Size 0>
I need some help on this one. I love how “fall” it is and I liked it in person, but now I’m kind of iffy about it. Maybe it’s just this picture? It fits well, but now something seems off.
Verdict: Undecided.
J.Crew Factory Rollneck™ pullover sweater, Ivory XS
I keep thinking I need a good white sweater and then I find a good one and buy it and now I have like 5 good white sweaters that I all love for different reasons. This one is no exception. It’s warm, cozy, and soft. All of the qualities of a good sweater. It’s fitted, but not tight, so it’s not too lumpy.
Verdict: Keep
J.Crew Factory Lace T-shirt, Vintage Champagne, Size 0
I think this would be the third color I would be getting of this shirt? So I know it fits well (it’s pretty much true to size), but I don’t know if I love the champagne color. It’s almost too close to my skin color and I think that may be what’s turning me off from it. But the fit is so good and I need a replacement for my falling apart white lace top, so this may be the winner…
Verdict: Help!
J.Crew Factory Flannel bell-sleeve top, Blue Green Cloral, Size 0
I was a little hesitant going into this shirt…and I was kind of right. It has a little bit of a boxy fit, so if you want to wear it, you have to tuck it in. It was also weird because it was a light weight flannel. I thought that I would like that about the top, but it just made it even odder.
On top of that, I wasn’t in love with the colors. They just felt more spring-y that I want to wear right now. I’ve seen this top on other people and it looked cute, but it just wasn’t working for me.
Verdict: Return
J.Crew Factory Printed secretary top, Navy Ivory Mini Dot, XS
I got this top for work, hoping that it would replace a similar one. Sadly, I was pretty underwhelmed once I put it on. There was nothing wrong with it, it was just meh. I like the ruffles, but it’s a little loose, no real fit to it, just meh. What a shame.
Verdict: Return.
J.Crew Factory Waffle funnelneck sweatshirt, HTHR Oatmeal, XS
This top was a clear sign that all I want right now is soft clothes. This sweatshirt is so cozy and comfortable. It’s a little long, but I like that it covers my butt, because then it’ll be good to wear to and from work out classes.
Just go and get it now. If you’re going to get anything in this post, make it this sweatshirt. There’s a reason I saved the best for last.
Verdict: Keeping it.
Phew! The reviews are done and I’m out! (Okay, that’s a joke, I have plenty more work to do, but I’m done trying on clothes…for now.)
