The Everlane Wrap Dress Review

Do I need to start another post at this point with how much I love Everlane? If you’re my Mom, then you’re going to shout, “for the love of god, NO.” But if you’re new around these parts (hi!), then let me fill you in quickly. I fell in love with Everlane back when they were only a t-shirts company. As they expanded, one bag lead to another, and I quickly fell down their retail hole. But not without a good reason. Everlane is an incredibly generous company built on price transparency and clean practices. You can learn everything on their site about each piece of clothing from it’s cost of production to what factory it was made in.

How could you not love a company that does that? It doesn’t hurt that their clothes are beautiful and their shoes are incredibly comfortable. I’m proud to say that Everlane has over the years become a partner of Something Good and has allowed me to generously share and review many of their items over the years.

The Everlane Wrap Dress

This summer has felt like Everlane’s summer of dresses. They’ve released some amazing dresses this summer (which keep selling out like crazy). The most popular of the dresses? The Everlane Wrap Dress.

I’m so excited about this wrinkle resistant dress, because it’s the most versatile of all of their dresses. After all, you can really wear it with so many different pieces.

Jean jacket and converse

Yes, I paired it with heels here, but would it be so cute with a pair of sneakers? It would give it such a fun vibe that would be perfect for strolling through the farmers market.

Cardigan (or blazer) and Day Heels

You know how much I love  my day heels now. Pair your wrap dresses with these for a something with a more work appropriate vibe.

Sandals (flat or heels) and a Wrap (or no wrap)

Keep it simple with your nicest pair of heels and get ready for date night. Your date won’t know what hit them.

Long Sleeve Top (underneath) and Wrap Sandals

I love that this gives you a little more of a covered up look, but still keeps things kind of sassy with the sandals. It especially helps if it’s cold out that day!

But Where to Wear It?

Really, your question should be, where won’t you wear your Everlane wrap dress? Because it comes in a wide variety in colors and designs (short sleeves, mini, and midi), there is one for literally every occasion). My personal preference may be to keep this one for nights and weekends and then get a short sleeve one for work. However, I’m not against wearing the pink to work too! So where will you wear your Everlane Wrap Dress?

Work

Forget work pants. Like I said earlier, pair these with the day heels and a cardigan (or blazer) and you’ll be unstoppable. You may just need to find your power color in their collection, but once you’ve found it, you’ll want to wear a wrap dress every day.

Day Night

It doesn’t matter if it’s a casual night or if you’re going to a fancy restaurant, this dress will work. Just sub out your flats for heels and leave your jacket behind. You’ve got this and you’re going to look good.

After Work Drinks

Remember when we talked about summer business casual outfits that are great for going from the office to after work drinks (or just meeting up with friends)? This is the perfect piece for that. Just throw off your jacket and you’re good to go.

Brunch

The best thing about a wrap dress? You can tie it a little looser after stuffing yourself at brunch. If that’s  not the best argument for this dress, I don’t know what is.

So have I convinced you yet that a good wrap dress is necessary for your life? Or do you need more styling suggestions? If so, let me know in the comments! I’m happy to help you with any of your styling or shopping needs!
