When it comes to clothes, I tend to find something I like and stick to it. Why mess with a good thing, right? Well, only Everlane could take a good thing and find a way to make it better. Case in point? Their GoWeave Wrap dress. It came out last year in sleeveless and tank and it was pretty awesome. So why not just recreate it in more colors and call it a day, right?
Well if they just did that, they wouldn’t be the Everlane I know and love. Nope. Instead, they found a way to make it even better. They created a long sleeve version! Which means it’s time for a brand new review.

The Primary Differences
So when it comes to this dress, what changes did they make? I do want to note that I decided to order this dress one size smaller than I previously have. With the last dress I had, I was a little uncomfortable with the gaping around the bust. Ordering one size down seemed to solve that problem!
Three-Quarter Sleeves
Okayyy, I know I said that it’s a long sleeve dress, but it’s really more like a 3/4 sleeve dress. Truthfully though, I think that’s much better since we’re moving into spring!
New Colors!
What’s a new release without a new batch of colors?! The new wrap dress was also released with new color options! You can get the long-sleeve dress in mint green, dusty blue, olive, or black. The sleeveless dress comes in the same colors, but instead of olive, they offer magenta. Finally, the short sleeve midi dress comes in dusty blue and the short sleeve mini dress comes in magenta. Really, there’s something for everyone.
Does this dress still have pockets?
Yes. Of course. Did I accidentally type does this pocket still have a dress? Yes.
Where Can You Wear This Dress
Much like it’s tank top predecessor, this dress is still just as versatile.
Work
I always felt like the tank dress was just a little too risque to wear to work. This dress though? It’s definitely work appropriate. It’d be great for a business casual environment.
How to Style It for Work
For a regular day at the office I would probably just pair it with a plain pair of flats. Either black or tan to help play up the dusty blue dress. If I have to be a little more dressed up that day, I would throw a blazer over it (definitely a black blazer) and pair it with a pair of black or pale pink pumps.
Weddings
This dress is perfect for spring weddings! Especially since you never know what weather you’re signing up for with a wedding in May. The sleeves protect you from that extra chill you might get, but the dress is still lightweight enough to keep you from getting overheated.
How to Style it for A Wedding
The possibilities for this one are endless! I would say to first consult my wedding guest shoe guide for the best style based on the venue. But, this dress would look great with an ankle strap stiletto, preferably in a nude/tan. You could then pair it with a tan or off white clutch. Other fun options? Silver shoes and accessories! Just an FYI, this dress is also more appropriate for a casual to slightly casual cocktail attire wedding. If the wedding is more cocktail attire, you may have to take it up a notch.
Date Night
Really, with how I’m dressed in these pictures, I’m ready for date night. This dress is ready for date night too. Just make sure your date is taking you somewhere nice!
How to Style it for Date Night
Okay, well I guess it depends on where you’re going. Maybe a fun pair of wedges? Or my all time favorite sandals from J.Crew Factory. Then pair it with a delicate necklace and fun rings. Just let the dress shine! Okay, well I guess maybe also let your personality shine too. But really, you can let the dress shine too.
What do you think of the new wrap dress? Do you prefer a long sleeve or a short sleeve wrap dress?
