Everlane GoWeave Tank Dress c/o (Same) / AEO Jean Jacket / Hush Puppies Sandals / Kendra Scott Necklace / BP Crawler Earrings
I have no idea why I’ve been looking for a dark green dress, if I’m being honest (which I try to be here). I’ve always love the color and I love wearing the color. I thought it would be a great color to wear to wedding, but I could never find the perfect dress. I thought I could look for another lace dress….but I think I need to calm it down with those.
I casually continued my search, but to no avail.
Now, I have to confess, I pay close attention to any Everlane new arrivals announcement. I know everything they produce is high quality (and you know how much I love them), so I really have no reason not to. I already loved their GoWeave Tank, so a full dress? Done and Done.
This dress was perfect for The Blog Societies Conference.
For the conference this year, I really wanted to try to not buy anything new. I wanted to focus on what I already have and find new ways to wear it. Everlane had gifted it to me earlier in the summer, but I thought it would be perfect for the conference. Since I would normally wear this for a nicer occasion, I thought it would be fun to find a way to dress it down.
That’s where the denim jacket came in.
Isn’t the denim jacket really one of the winners of the closet? It can bring an outfit together and add that extra touch of casual you need. I fully took advantage of that and then threw in these fun hush puppies sandals.
The outfit ended up working perfectly!
I was comfortable all day, I didn’t get cold in the chilly in the hotel, and I looked pretty cute (if I say so myself). So what do you think about wearing jean jackets with nicer dresses? Have you ever dressed down a nicer outfit?

Can’t go wrong with a dress + denim jacket. And this really does look like a great cut/fabric of dress! The color is great on you too.
