Do Something Good
In just a few short days, New York Fashion Week will be starting back up again. While it’s ridding with many questions, one of the biggest one people are looking at this year is diversity at NYFW. There’s been some significant progress towards diversity, but many brands still don’t see it as a priority. One woman though, Nicole Doswell, a diversity casting specialist at The Riviere Agency, as taken it upon herself to make it a priority. Last February, she was the driving force behind Anniesa Hasibuan’s NYFW’s presentation that featured all models who were immigrants. Doswel has been doing amazing things in pursing Diversity in NYFW and I can’t wait to see what she continues to do this year.

Ooh I just read The Thousandth Floor on vacation and am excited to finish the series – though I need to give myself a little break between books, I think. Sometimes need a breather after living in YA land for a bit 🙂
That I understand, YA tends to have a lot of emotions in overdrive.
