It’s been kind of hard to write blog posts over the last few days to be honest. But I have some posts I’ve really wanted to get up over the next few weeks (including this December 2020 Budget post), so I’m going to try my hardest to get some work done. If anyone has some suggestions about getting motivated, I’m ready to hear them.

I’m not sure what happened, but at some point during December (after I did my November budget), I just kind of lost interest in shopping for clothes. I filled up three giant bags of clothes for ThredUp and wondered if there was anything else I could get rid of (there definitely is). On top of that, I also took down all of my shoes in boxes in my closet and PURGED shoes like crazy. Honestly, I have no idea what took over my body, but I’m not angry about it. It felt great.
But Dana, you still bought clothes! Yes, yes I did. And all with good explanation (well, maybe not the shoes?). After going to the dog park multiple times and freezing my butt off, I decide it was time to try out Old Navy’s “built-in warm” jeans. I should probably write a whole review post for these, but I feel about 50/50 on these. Definitely warmer than regular jeans, but I wanted more.
Next up, the two tops. Those are all cozy all the way. I’ve already worn both so many times, they’ve paid for themselves. Okay, that’s not actually a thing, but I’ve justified their purchase. But what I’m saying is that yes I lost interest in clothes, but I did find a few cozy/keep me warm items and it was worth it. Especially considering we can only socialize outside now.
Finally, the shoes. I have no explanation for those, other than I waited for them to be on super sale and they finally were. I’m just waiting for regular life or warm weather to wear them. Whichever comes first.
Now on to January!
