It’s time for another Currently Link Up!
discovering
More ways to put together items in my closet. I’ve had a lot of fun this month not only incorporating the new things that I’ve gotten, but also finding ways to style my old pieces. Maybe this is just because I’m happy to wear fall colors, but whatever, I’ll take it.
celebrating
All things books! It’sย almost time for me to head to NYC for Book Riot Live. I went last year and I’m excited to go again this year and celebrate all things books.
starting
To plan all of my holiday content! I’m doing this thing where I actually try to plan and not wait until the last minute and it’s been working so far. The only obstacle? I don’t really have any desire to talk about holiday outfits right now. Give me all of the recipes and travel tips, but outfits? Eh.
wearing
Sweaters! Kind of! Oy, remember during the last currently when I said how excited I was to wear sweaters? Well DC must have gotten a good laugh out of that because it was warm the entire month. All I got to do was look longingly at my sweaters while I walked past them. I have hope that I’ll get to wear them this month though!
googling
Healthy-ish Thanksgiving recipes. My parents are coming to DC for Thanksgiving this year, so all I’ve been thinking about lately is what I’m going to make. I’m going to keep it simple because there will only be three of us. Let me know if you have any recipe suggestions! Also, if you need a delicious dessert suggestion, these apple crisps are always a winner.
As always, linking up for the Currently Link Up!
Book Riot Live looks like so much fun! A little jealous you’re going ๐
I’m very excited! you should try to go next year!
Love the “healthy-ish” recipes! Ha! Thanksgiving makes a little extra indulging okay.

Haha, yes it does, but I need the balance!
I need to get Book Riot on my calendar for next year, I think! Hope you have a great time. And hosting Thanksgiving – how fun. I always love a brussels sprouts/butternut squash/cranberry sort of roast/hash. Pinterest has lots of options ๐
Yes you do need to put it on your calendar!
I finally got some time this weekend to browse pinterest, so I have a few more ideas now ๐
It is bizarrely warm in Ireland too although they are predicting snow for the weekend !! I have never ever had a thanksgiving meal ( being Irish ) I might need to start a new tradition !
Did you end up getting snow??
i wish i was on top of things enough to plan for holiday content. that’s a really great idea. but most of the time i’m way too lazy to plan. :/ haha. so good for you!!!
Oh I understand! I’m just so busy with other things for the next few weeks that if I don’t plan, it just won’t happen.
