Last week I started talking about how I’ve brought jeans back into my quarantined life. It’s made me feel like a person again. So when Anne mentioned the idea of styling button fly jeans for our two ways post I was all in. Especially since neither of us were really feeling the outfit creativity flowing.

Blogger Style Two Ways: Button Fly Jeans
Since this is blogger style two ways – quarantine edition, I figured I would go all in on the quarantine style. That is, work on the top, party on the bottom.
Work on the top, party on the bottom
Um, so what does that mean exactly? Well, it’s basically what all of us are doing right now when we have work calls. We’re putting on really nice tops and doing our hair and make up, so our upper half looks great. But then from the waist down, it’s all casual. So jeans and sandals one day, slippers the next. Or leggings and flats. Either way, it’s casual.
I also just wanted to add that I love this top. It’s in Everlane’s GoWeave material, which is super comfortable. It can also take what looks like a simple cut and make it look much fancier.
Casual Friday
Yes, I had to throw in a casual Friday look. Especially when all I had to do was throw on a tee. I tend to wear outfits like these a lot more when I know that I’m not going to have any important calls. Especially since I know that I can then just throw a cardigan over it and go!
In case you’re curious (because I for sure was), no doing the buttons on the jeans is not a pain in the butt (even when you have to go to the bathroom). It’s much easier than I expected, especially with this pair of jeans!
Now go check out Anne’s post and see how she styled her jeans!
