Yes, this says April 2021 Budget. Yes, it’s almost the end of May. I’ve been a little MIA from here mentally and physically for a while, but I’m hoping to slowly start posting again. Hopefully a budget post is a good way to start?

What can I say about this budget other than the fact that it’s a result of A LOT of retail therapy. It’s also the result of a lot of returning and exchanging between March and April (and maybe a little into May?). The months really started to blend together for me a little bit in there, so I just started to just look for basics and comfortable clothes (which all of those are).

I don’t have a lot to say about my budget otherwise, but I did want to highlight two of the items I purchased.

Freedom Moses Sandals

Did this trend make it from Summer 2020 to Summer 2021? Truthfully, I have no idea, but for me, they totally did. I’ve purchased them in three colors for this summer, and I’ve already been obsessively wearing them. I was especially excited to see the gingham pair from J.Crew x Freedom Moses when they came out. If you’re a gingham lover, trust me, you’ll love them. If not, I would suggest checking out one of my other favorites in floral. I’ve linked a handful below, but trust me, this will be your favorite sandal this summer.

Everlane Organic Cotton Crew

When Everlane redid their cotton crew, I was a little nervous that I wouldn’t love the new ones. I was in love with the old design and let’s be honest, I hate change. But this one is SO COMFORTABLE. The colors it comes in are way more muted that previously, but I’m honestly okay with that.
