Today I’m linking up with Briana from Work Clothes, I Suppose to show how I remix an item from my wardrobe.
If there’s one thing I love, it’s an outfit piece that can be used for any occasion. I got these pants from Gap on a quick run to return a dress. I wasn’t planning on looking around, but I couldn’t resist glancing at their 50% off rack. I was iffy about buying these pants originally, but with a $11 price tag, I knew I could wear them enough times to justify the price.
This outfit was my first go at these pants. I figured, hey it’s casual Friday, so I’ll wear them to work to give them a test run.
For outfit #2, it was in the high 60s and I wanted something bright and sunny. I was inspired by another blogger to pair my yellow shoes with these pants and I loved the weather so much that I turned them into capris!
This outfit will get it’s own post soon, but I wanted to dress up these pants and prove to the world that they could go fancy too. I think it worked out quite well, don’t you?
So what is one of your favorite items to remix? Do you have any suggestions for other ways to remix these pants?
You're my new favorite person for remixing an item that I would look at and only know how to style in one way! I adore this remix post! Thanks so much for linking up 🙂
Aww thank you! I'm a huge fan of printed pants/skirts but I was originally a little iffy about this pair. Luckily it worked out and they're quickly becoming a staple!
Also, I liked this remixing an item for thursday threads so much that I think I need to do remixing posts more often now!
I love it! Esp with the blazer. I can't believe you got these for only $11!!!

Thanks! I think this was the second or third pair of printed pants that I bought from Gap on clearance (and on a whim) and ended up loving them!
(PS I'm also a pretty big fan of your blog!)
