I really feel like I’ve been on a loop the last few months. When people ask me what’s new, I don’t really have that much to say, but in the best possible way. Nothing has really changed in my life in the last few months and I kind of love it that way. I’m just watching tv, listening to some books, doing some needlepoint, and trying to work out a little bit more.
Currently, Vol. 47
loving
Needlepoint! Are you getting sick of me talking about it yet? I just love how calming it is and how I can bring it everywhere and there are so many fun designs. I’m definitely not amazing at it yet, but I’m really enjoying learning it.
Also, no I didn’t needlepoint that pillow, but I’m definitely considering purchasing that kit off of Amazon!
embracing
Stopping books I’m not enjoying. Seriously, after I almost threw my phone across the room after finishing The Wives, I hit a mini reading rut. Nothing was enjoyable. I had to keep reminding myself that it was okay to put a book down if I wasn’t enjoying it. I had to do it three or four times in a row, but luckily, I finally landed on a good one!
tasting
New tea flavors! When Teavana closed last year, I realized that I was going to have to find a new place for fun new teas. Enter DavidsTea! I indulged a little bit during their winter sale and I love the new flavors I’ve gotten to try so far. I also love the tumbler that I picked up during their holiday sale. This isn’t the exact one, but the design (except for the sip at the top) is the same.
wearing
I’ve been wearing the same Everlane High-Rise Skinny Jeans over and over and over (the authentic stretch ones). Seriously, I wear them to work and on the weekend. They look so good and they just suck everything in so well. Plus, they’re only $68. I’m always so shocked by how well priced Everlane’s jeans are and the Everlane High-Rise Skinny Jeans are no exception.
PS Keep an eye out for a whole new Everlane’s jeans review coming your way soon.
preparing
For the next closet cleanout and living room reorganization. I mentioned this during my January budget, but my closet has just felt so stuffed ever since my boyfriend moved in. I obviously can’t get rid of any of his clothes (maybe..), but I can at least get rid of some of my own.
I’m also ready to start attacking and reorganizing my living room. I’ve reorganized almost every other room in the house (I’ve put these elfa organizers on every available door), so this is the final and biggest project. I’m nervous….but also pretty excited.
As always, linking up with Anne In Residence.
