I get so oddly excited for these posts! It’s so funny. I think I just really enjoy seeing what pieces my readers love every month and what you’re buying as well.

If you’re new around here (hello and welcome!), Monthly Reader’s Favorites post is a monthly series I do share the pieces that readers bought and clicked on the most in the previous month. Old Navy Button-Front Twill Patch-Pocket Mini

I think that this is the first time that the top item of the month wasn’t featured in an outfit post! Well, not yet at least.

I’ve already sang the praises of this skirt in my review post, but this skirt is great! It’s “buttoned-up” enough that it’ll work for work and casual Friday, but I can easily wear it on weekends.

Even better, since it’s tan and white, it can go with so many different colors. Of course, I’ll always go with black or white on default, but it’ll go great with blue (like above) or a hunter green. Either way, I have so many work looks planned!

Whenever I’m looking for simple, inexpensive, but beautiful jewelry, Madewell is where I go. Everything from there is understated, but still makes you feel amazing wearing it.

J.Crew Striped pleated midi skirt:

This is the second (or third??) year J.Crew Factory has brought this skirt back and it’s for a good reason. I’m pretty sure that this skirt looks good on everyone. It hits at the perfect spot (even for a petite person), it’s lined, it’s lightweight, and it has pockets. What more could a girl ask for?
