Last week I asked you guys about what you wanted to see from me for holiday content. Except after posting it, I realized something really important. Asking an open ended question is an incredibly inefficient way to get an answer to something. Whoops. We all make mistakes, right?
I figured I would make life a little easier for all of us though and just make a quick and easy survey for you to fill out. But as I started making the survey, I realized I didn’t want to just ask about holiday content, I wanted to learn more about you! So I rewrote all of it and now it’s all about you. High Waist Styles
Okay, so I didn’t have a complete fear of high waist jeans. Just a perfectly reasonable one. After all, everyone was wary of the “mom” jean and no one wanted to be caught wearing it. I wore my low and mid-rise jeans and called it a day.
Then 2018 happened. Suddenly it’s cool to wear mom jeans again and everything high waist is back in style. Now, don’t get me wrong, I’ll wear a high waist skirt any day. But jeans? Yeah I just didn’t have the body for them.

Of course I found the perfect pair of high waist jeans at American Eagle. I really doubted they would work well on me because of my body type, but these jeans fit so well!
What I Pair My High Waist Jeans With
Crop tops! (Things I never thought I would hear myself say). I love wearing these jeans with cropped tees (like the one I’m wearing) or cropped sweaters. They’re also perfect for all of those cut out back tops you know I love wearing. It also totally gives me an excuse to buy more of them now, right?
