Your August 2018 Favorite Clothing Pieces

Hi! We’re already two weeks into September and it’s time to look back at August! In case you’re new to Something Good (in which case, hello! Please say hi in the comments below!), this monthly series is a fun way to share with you which pieces were readers’ favorite pieces from the previous month! That way you can check out some other people’s favorite items and maybe find some new favorites of your own.

How do I figure this out?

How do I figure out which pieces are your favorite pieces? Or at least the ones that people bought or loved? Well, one of the way that I make money through my blog is through affiliate links. Which means that every time you click on a link to a piece of clothing and/or buy it, the affiliate company I work with tracks it. It also tracks all of the clothing that are bought through those links. I love it because it lets me see which items you guys love the most!

The favorite piece of this month: the J.Crew Factory Sweater-blazer

I’m so jealous of all of you who bought and loved this blazer. I ordered it from J.Crew Factory for one of my try on sessions. The material was perfect. It was nice and stretchy, not like any of the annoying stiff material you normally get. I also loved the tan color of the blazer, it would go with so many pieces in my closet!

So why didn’t it work for me? My height. Sigh. It was just one or two inches too long. It really was a shame. Except I’m now realizing that I didn’t try it on with any dresses, only pants, so I may have missed out on a major opportunity here. I was also reading the reviews for the J.Crew version and that one may not be as long? I might order the J.Crew version and compare it to the J.Crew Factory Sweater-Blazer so you guys can know what the difference is.
