Oof, guys. First, let me apologize for all of the late posts. I was ready on Sunday to be on my game and get all of this work done, but then a migraine hit me hard. I was basically down for the count. Truthfully, I’m not quite sure how I managed to make dinner, but looking a computer screen was completely out of the question. I couldn’t even put together coherent thoughts.
But I’m back now and in more or less one piece! So let’s talk about this outfit and these J.Crew Factory Block-heel Sandals.

The J.Crew Factory Block heel Sandals
Oh my gosh. I heard that you didn’t need to break these shoes in at all, but I thought that was a joke. Or that other people lucked out. But they weren’t kidding. These sandals were so comfortable immediately. The leather strap over your toes is incredibly soft from the get-go. There is zero break in period and I have the pickiest feet. If they can find a way to rub, blister, bleed (so gross), etc., they will. Not at all with these shoes.
But what about the heel?
I know, I know, I love my flat shoes until the end of time. But you know what I love right after a flat? A block heel. Block heels are designed to be more comfortable and easier to walk in. These heels aren’t an exception. The block heel is just low enough that it gives you a bit of a bump, but still is comfortable to walk everywhere in. The other week I wore them all day at work and then all evening for a date with zero pain.
What would I wear this with?
Thanks to the neutral color, I can pair the shoes with just about everything. I wore this blog outfit for a date night, but I paired these shoes for a work look later in the week. Actually, I’ve already worn them multiple times for work in the last few weeks.
What would I not wear them with?
The two pieces I haven’t done, I’m still going back and forth about trying. So maybe you can weigh in and let me know what you think.
First, I’m still not one to wear heels with shorts. It’s just too much. But these heels are pretty low and I think they would look cute with my polka dot shorts, which are a little more modest. Is it too much though? Let me know what you think!
Second, if I’m wearing ankle pants, I stay away from anything with an ankle strap. I think the ankle strap cuts you and stops from elongating your leg. But would the heel help or hurt in the this case? I know the only way to find out is to try, but I’m nervous for some reason!
Have I convinced you to get the J.Crew Factory Block-heel Sandals yet?
I just love them so much and I hope you love your pair too!
