I say this every month, but August really did fly by. Like to the point where I almost forgot to RSVP to a wedding because the it was all of a sudden the RSVP deadline. But anyways, it’s time for September and my time to kick off all of the fall foods (and catch up on Supergirl).
Celebrating
Mini wins. The more I’ve gotten into taking courses for my blog, the more I’ve learned how important it is to celebrate and enjoy the mini wins. From figuring out how to make my own gifs to scheduling out my content, it’s all about enjoying every win along the way. Even the tiniest things can help to lead to the bigger things further down the road and it’s good to enjoy them now!
Watching
All of the episodes of Jane the Virgin and Supergirl that I realized that I didn’t watch last season. I caught up on a bunch of Netflix shows I wanted to watch and I thought I was all set. Then I realized I never watched the last few episodes of Jane the Virgin and Supergirl from last season. Whoops? The good part, it’s like I have brand new episodes to watch!
Welcoming
House guests! After not having some house guest for a while, I just had a friend visit a few weeks ago and I have another friend coming in a week or two. A lot of my friends are scattered around the US, so it’s nice to finally be in the same city as some of them. I also love getting to show DC to them too!
Preparing
For more upcoming trips! Haha, doesn’t it always feel that way? I only have a few trips coming up, but I’m poorly unprepared my friends. First, I need a new suitcase. The zipper on my old carry on ripped and I’m finally over bringing that suitcase in to get repaired. I think I’m going to get the away carry on, but if you have any other suggestions please let me know! Second, I realized that my passport has expired. Double whoops. I didn’t realize how much I was thinking about this until I had a dream about it last night though (where I got all the way to England and then realized I left it at home), so it’s time to go get that renewed. Finally, I need to figure out when I’m going home this holiday season and maybe buy some tickets for that. So many things guys, so many things.
