For the last two months, I’ve been on a ridiculous hunt for a pair of light wash denim jeans. I normally only wear dark pairs, but it’s finally time for something different.
I love the look that dark denim gives. It makes every outfit look a little more dressed up, like you actually tried.
But lately, I’ve been doing the opposite.
I’ve been embracing looking a little more laid back. With that, I kind of want to trade in my darker jeans for a pair of light wash denim. The only problem is, now I have to find a pair! I tried on a pair during the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale, but I can’t decide if I want to stick with those or go with a pair from Abercrombie and Fitch.
I just can’t decide!
Do you have any suggestions? I think I’m aiming for skinny jeans with a rip or two in the knee. I wish I could aim for boyfriend jeans, but I haven’t found a good pair, so I’ve lost all hope in that area.
I’m on the same hunt! I just ordered a pair from Old Navy to try–they’re the “sculpt” kind, in the Jolene wash. Hopefully they end up being what I’m looking for!
I do love Old Navy’s sculpt pair (I have them in black). Did you get them already? What do you think??
Didn’t love them. The fabric seemed a little too heavy/constricting to me…probably didn’t help that I was trying them on on a 95-degree day! The hunt continues…
Oh yeah, I can not handle them on hot days, BUT they’re amazing in the winter.
I like the last pair from American Eagle, they look comfy and if you really want holes wear them and earn the holes. Lol, why should you pay more for them!
Earn the holes? Who has all that time to be crawling around on the floors, Mom??
Just wear and wash and repeat, the denim softens and after a bit you’ll earn those holes!
