First, mom, don’t yell at me for taking pictures of these gap fall arrivals reviews with wet hair. Sometimes it just has to happen. Second, after my post last week, I just had to try out some of the pieces that I linked to!
Gap Textured Wrap Belt Cardigan, XS
I have mixed feelings about this cardigan. The knit, super soft, which is always a plus. Cozy, definitely? The color, a great beige. The fit? Okay. So wear did it go wrong. It looked kind of weird with the belt. That could be fixed by taking away the belt. But the biggest problem came in the shoulders. You can’t really see it in the picture, but there’s a seam that cuts right across the back of your shoulders that has ZERO give. At one point I felt restricted in my movement. Which is definitely a no go for lounge wear.

Gap High Rise Denim Mini Skirt, 25
Let’s get the bad out of the way first. The denim in this skirt was seriously stiffer than I expected and the fit of the skirt was also a little bit tighter. The good? The denim was a deep blue and since it was hemmed on the bottom, it looked more put together than your basic denim skirt. I’m a little tempted to stick with it and see if I can break it in and if it will stretch out. But I’m still deciding.
Verdict: I don’t know!
Gap Pleated Midi Skirt, XS
Defeated by my shortness again! Seriously though. This skirt fit fairly well. It ruffled a bit too much at the waist, but I could have moved past that. I’m exactly five feet tall, so if you’re taller than me, you shouldn’t have any problems. Also, it was sold out in my size in petite, which is why I didn’t try that out.

Gap Pleated Midi Skirt, XS
Yup, it’s the same skirt in pink! What can I say, after my striped skirt, I just keep hoping I can find another winner! See all the reasons above for why this didn’t work. Also, as you can see, the wrinkles are SO VISIBLE in this color.

Gap Crepe Pleated Joggers, SP
Another hunt that I should probably give up? The one for the perfect pair of work joggers. Much like fetch, I just don’t think it’s going to happen. The good about this one: The fabric was amazing. The perfect thickness. The bad? That strap closing at the ankle (I have no idea what that thick piece of fabric is called), it was just too wide). Also, I felt like it was just a little too billowy at the hips.

That’s it for now. I’m debating actually doing a trip to a Gap store (crazy, I know) to do some in store try-ons. We’ll see!
They all look great to you and very comfortable to wear! Love the style and color!
Thank you Pam!
