Nordstrom Anniversary Sale Giveaway | Something Good

The Nordstrom Anniversary Sale starts tomorrow (for card holders)and I’m still at a loss for how I want to share my favorite picks with you. The ideas I have in mind right now include:

  1. A post with some of my top picks
  2. Shopping reviews post (like last years)
  3. A Pinterest board with my top picks
  4. D. All of the above.

Any opinions? I don’t want to overwhelm you guys since I have a feeling you’ll be getting it from a lot of bloggers. I also don’t want to stray to far from what we normally do here. It’s just a good sale to shop. Let me know what you think and I’ll do what you guys prefer!

    I’m hoping to find some gray boots and/or leather jacket, as gray has become one of my favorite neutrals lately! I would definitely be interested in seeing your reviews of what you end up ordering.

      I found quite a few good (and well priced) gray items, so I think you’ll be pretty happy. I plan on doing some reviews, so those should go up in the next week or so.

    I always check out the jeans options for a good deal, but otherwise I almost don’t look at anything because I get so overwhelmed by all the huge product collages on pretty much every blog… so I think shopping reviews would be a better way to go!

      I feel like I have to take all of the posts by people very slowly because I get overwhelmed as well. I did figure out a less intimidating way of getting through the sale today (by category and then only looking at the under $100 items) and that seemed to work. There will be a shopping review post coming soon though!

    There are sooo many “top pick” posts right away that I find reviews to be more helpful and interesting. I’m struggling right now trying to even sign in to my Nordstrom account – the website keeps timing out – so I can’t get access to anything. 🙁

      I did end up doing an under $100 one, but that’s all I’m really going to do in terms of those. I am going to do a review post though, don’t worry!

      My account was being so weird all day today too, it was getting so annoying. I just kept refreshing and it wouldn’t work. It did finally let me through, so keep trying!

        I did finally get in after a few tries. Now my cart is full and I need some serious culling. Trying to stick to my wishlist items but it’s hard! I’ve been wanting a leather jacket for a while and there’s some good options but I’m still debating whether or not I’m going to wear one enough for the $.

            I just got the Halogen jacket and looove it but the sleeves are still too long even in petite. Nordstorm’s Twitter suggested I bring it in to Alterations. We’ll see. Perhaps I should try a faux leather first.

            Hmmm, I’d say order the leather also and do a side by side comparison? If you like the faux leather more, keep it, otherwise return it and keep the Halogen one and get nordstrom to alter it!
