Happy April! It’s time for a currently link up and a little peek at what’s going on in my life right now.
accomplishing
My apartment clean up…slowly. Very slowly. But it’s getting done. Seeing some of the spaces look so clean have inspired me to keep them clean. The only problem is the pile of clothes to sell. Some of them just haven’t been selling. I’m honestly to the point where I’m ready to just bring everything to the consignment shop and donate whatever is left over.
feeling
I’m feeling a little overwhelmed lately. I said it last year, but I get a little stressed out when I have a lot of travel back to back. I try to avoid it, but that tends to never work in April/May. I have quite a few trips over the next three months. I’m trying to not psych myself and come at it prepared, but it can be hard. You can be that I’ll be turning to How to Pack a lot to help myself out.
needing
More time to read! I keep picking up more books from the library and all I want to do is sit and read them. The good part about all the traveling is that it will give me a lot of reading time. The bad part? I have no reading time in between.
practicing
Yoga again. Kind of. When I sprained my ankle a few months ago, I had to step away from yoga for a while. Now that it’s healed, I want to start up again! I’m planning on using yoga youtube videos during my trips. Once I’m back home, I plan on starting back up at my local studio.
pinning
All the spring outfits. I love some of the looks my favorite bloggers have come out with. I also love getting inspired and seeing how I can recreate them with what I already have. It’s been fun remixing pieces and I love the outfits that have come out of it!
Linking up with Anne
I always feel like I need more time for reading – so that’s one of the things I appreciate about work travel these days, since I leave my kid at home and have dedicated solo time where I’m stuck, belted into a seat. But I totally feel you on not liking to have it all back-to-back. Hope it all goes smoothly for you + your stress levels!
Yes! That’s one of the reasons I love travelling, especially by bus. It’s all dedicated reading time!
It’s gone pretty smoothly for the first trip, so hopefully it stays that way!
I tried to sell a lot of the boy’s old clothes on ebay and I’m wondering what to do with the unsold stuff now too – wish we had a consignment store nearby I could take it too, but I don’t know of anywhere like that for kids clothes here in Australia. I might just have to donate the rest of it! Good luck with the rest of your sales 🙂
Hope you are having a really good week so far.
Away From The Blue Blog
Do you guys have any access to online consignment shops? I think that ThredUp is only US based, but there has to be some Australian equivalent! Let me know if you find anything, but donating is always a good option if not.
Traveling a lot back to back can definitely wear on you. Hopefully it can go as smoothly as possible… that yoga should help!! 😉
I think the yoga will help! The first trip went well, so hopefully it’ll be good from now on!
My problem is always that I can get into a book, but as soon as I get busy and don’t pick it up for a few days it becomes impossible to pick it back up and get back into it!
I can see that. I try to read on my way to/from work every day. I figure if I can’t bring myself to pick it up then, I can start another book.
Oooh! Following your Spring & Summer board because I am in a rut something fierce! I’ve even given myself permission to spend some money to kick start me back, but my rut is so deep I can’t even motivate myself to shop!
At least your rut is saving you money? Let me know if you need any help finding some new pieces to get you out of your rut!
Good luck with getting back into yoga! I need to get walking more. I’m curious about trying yoga though.
Oh gosh, finding reading time can be difficult! I hope you get some in. 🙂
