I think these Hush Puppies sandals might be my new favorite pair of shoes this spring.

I really liked the gladiator style sandals that got popular a year or two ago. But honestly, they were just too fussy for me. So many of the pairs had buckles and straps and who knows what else. I’ve always maintained that my style is easy and not fussy. Those shoes always seemed too fussy, so they were a no go for me. When Hush Puppies asked me to pick out a pair of shoes for their DC party, I was instantly drawn to these shoes. I loved how they looked, but almost walked away from them. Luckily, I noticed that there were no straps or buckles, just a zipper up the back! Sold!
In case I wasn’t sold on them already, once they arrived, I realized that they were padded and so comfortable. I was able to easily walk to and from Hush Puppies’s party with no problems at all. By the way, I need to tell you about this party. It was hosted at Masseria in DC and it was absolutely amazing. Not only had they decorated the place with pinterest perfect decorations, but the food was so delicious. It was easily one of the best blogger events that I’ve ever attended.
I should probably mention, this post was not sponsored by Hush Puppies, I was just so impressed with the shoes and the party that I had to share. I’m also sharing some of my favorite Hush Puppies shoes from their new arrivals!
