Wednesday Wishlist: Little White Dress

As promised, I’m taking requests now for Wednesday Wishlist! This week, I had a reader (and close friend) request a little white dress!

Okay, so she actually just requested a white dress, and hinted that it might be used for an elopement. I thought that this might be a good time to talk about the little white dress and it’s summer usefulness. Also, she’s going to a warm climate, so she’s not looking for one of those long, heavy weight dresses.

Anyways, back to the little white dress. On here, we’ve definitely talked about the little black dress (your LBD) before, but have we talked about the little white dress (LWD)? The little white dress is the summer equivalence to your LBD. Its your perfect dress that you can dress up or down. But, it’s also most likely going to be worn during the summer months when a LBD is just too dark. It’s also probably going to be a lighter fabric.

The one place a little white dress is NOT appropriate is as your wedding guest attire. Put your LWD away for this occasion. Otherwise, bring it out and wear it to everything!
