Full disclosure: I totally took these pictures back in early December (and yes, DC trees still looked like this then). But that shouldn’t distract you from my main point today: you can still totally wear white jeans in the winter.

Does anyone actually still follow the no white after labor day rule? I didn’t think so, but I’ve still heard people say that you should wear white in the winter.
It’s such a silly idea though because white jeans are perfect in the winter! They’re such a good way to brighten up all of the dark colors that most people tend to gravitate towards as soon as it gets cold. I love pairing my white jeans in the winter with big black sweaters or navy.
For this outfit, I decided to try something a little different though and go for a more neutral look. I was a little iffy about trying it, but I love how well this tan sweater pairs with my white jeans and the leopard flats. While I couldn’t wear this whole outfit outside right now (it’s about 5 degrees), I would just sub out my flats for brown boots and be set.
So now I have to ask, do you wear white jeans in the winter? Do you stay away from it all together?

So cute! I love white jeans, but I would get them SO dirty right away! haha
You should try these or Old Navy’s spotless jeans! They help repel stains (it actually does work).
I love white jeans in the winter, but haven’t worn any this winter as I don’t want to invest in maternity white jeans 🙂 This all-neutral outfit is SUPER cute!
I think that’s completely fair, though i wonder if Old Navy has a low priced pair…
I love this color (or not color – ha!) combination. And I misssss my flats! Winter boots + white jeans just doesn’t have quite the same effect, sadly.
I know! It randomly has been getting warm in DC, so I could wear flats but I’m still stuck with my big old ankle brace/boot so I can’t 🙁
