Note: This post was not sponsored by Threads for Thought. While I received clothing items to wear in my post, all thoughts and opinions are my own. Thank you for supporting the brands that support Something Good!
One of my favorite things about this blog has been discovering brands that have been finding new and inventive ways to give back. Active wear has become a big part of my life, so I was thrilled when I came across Threads 4 Thought.
Threads 4 Thought sells apparel of all kinds (they started by focusing on graphic tees), but their active wear drew me in. The products were fun, colorful, and trendy. Plus, they were committed to finding ways to recycle clothing. It was a win for everyone.
It was once I started reading a little more about them that I became even more impressed. Threads 4 Thought is committed to using material that is sustainable and environmentally friendly to design.
By environmentally friendly, I don’t just mean that they use high quality cotton (which they do), but even cooler than that, they turn plastic into yarn! It was pretty amazing to look at the tag of my sports bra and see that it was made out of recycled bottles. I honestly didn’t even know that you could do that.
Threads 4 Thought’s devotion to the environment doesn’t stop once you’ve purchased an item from them. Once you’ve reached the end of your Threads 4 Thought‘s clothing’s life (holes, stains, too small/big, etc), you can send your pieces back to them and they’re recycle it for you. They’ll also give you a 30% discount on your next order.
I know some people can be picky about their active wear, but I would definitely suggest checking them out. All of the pieces I received were incredibly soft, true to size, and, um, held everything in (for those sports bras). Let me know if you have any more questions about the line!
