I love exploring. One of my favorite things about moving to DC for my internship and then my full time job was getting to explore all of the different neighborhoods and places you could visit.
Union Market was still in it’s smaller stages when I first started going, so it’s amazing to see how it’s grown over the past two years. I’ve gotten to see shops just stop by for a pop up shop and other delicious food stands find a slightly more permanent home there. I also love the new outdoor spaces they’ve created (including the one we used for the pictures today)!
I realized that we’re more than halfway into this post and I’ve been leading you down a winding and confusing path. While I am sharing my love for Union Market with you, this post actually isn’t sponsored by them. Actually, this post is all about the bag you keep seeing in those pictures. You see, when you’re going on mini weekend adventures, the bag is really important. You need to be able to fit your essentials in it, but since you’ll probably be on the go, it can’t weigh you down.
Luckily, this Vera Bradley bag is perfect for that. It not only has two separate pockets, but this is hands down the best magnetic clasp I’ve ever dealt with on a bag. Unlike ones I’ve had in the past, this clasp actually worked and both flaps stayed down the entire time. Plus, the leather is so soft.
