Up until this summer, I hadn’t worn anything maxi related since 6th grade (the last time I was average height). As a petite girl, the idea of wearing something that I knew would be too long and drag all over the ground completely scared me. However, thanks to the wonderful internet, I’ve been able to find maxis in petite sizing, so they’re actually the right length! Now I’m in a full blown love affair with them. I love that you can look dressed up while you feel like you’re wearing sweatpants and that simple maxis like this one can be dressed up or dressed down.
Also, yes, I chopped 4 inches off of my hair and it feels awesome.

This maxi looks fabulous on you! I just recently chopped off a few inches too. Doesn't it feel great?!
My long hair is driving me insane…not much longer I think.

Love the maxi dress, and it looks so good with the jean jacket! I like your hair this length, I will probably be a long haired girl until i am 90

I love that dress on you! The neckline is beautiful! I'm shocked that it's old navy and will definitely be checking it out 🙂
The neckline on the maxi is beautiful! Really dresses up the jersey fabric. I'm average height, but sometimes I still find that I have to hem up maxis. I don't want to ruin them!
Thanks! And yes, I'm so happy about cutting it off for the summer!
Sometimes it's just time to cut it short 🙂
Thanks girl! I had crazy long hair up through high school and then started cutting it short. I love how it looked long back then, but I'm not sure if I could handle having it that long anymore!
Thank you 🙂 I was shocked when I got it from Old Navy too. I actually wore it to dinner with my parents and my mom didn't believe me that it was a $20 dress from Old Navy.
Even with some of the petite maxis, I've still had to get them hemmed. It's annoying, but it's definitely worth it.
