November was basically the month where J.Crew said, “here is a lot of pretty and cozy stuff, let me discount it for you.” And I said “wowwwww, thank you! Let me buy all of it.” Their deals have just been too good and I swear, the quality has gotten much better. Additionally, they’re really leaning into the fact that we’re stuck inside because the products have gotten SO COZY. So I tried to exercise control at the beginning and then I really gave up.
What’s funny though is that once the Black Friday/Cyber Monday weeks hit, I didn’t really do any clothes shopping. I bought other things, but after my little J.Crew binge, there weren’t other clothes that I really wanted to spend my money on.
The good news though? I found one clothing sale AND two Thred Up bags to use to get rid of more clothes! Which is good, because I’ve started a pile of clothes in my closet that I want to get rid of. I’ve also decide that I want to go through my boxes of ankle boots and heels as well to see what I can finally donate. I think that I’m finally coming to terms with the fact that things can be replaced if I really need them, but if I haven’t worn them in a while (pandemic excluded), it’s time to go.
Now it’s on to the last month of the year!
