I don’t know what’s going on in publishing this year, but the amount of amazing books coming out this year, has been overwhelming. What’s even better is that it looks like there’s no plan to slow it down for the Fall 2020 Book Releases!
Below I’ve complied a list of the releases that I’m most looking forward to, along with the date coming out and their genre. I decided to not really add commentary because it’s a long list, but I’ve linked to all of them so you can ready the descriptions for all of them.
There was one exception I made though. I included my review for the new American Royals book. I just love the series and the author so much, I just couldn’t help it. Also, the book comes out this Tuesday, so it was perfect timing!

American Royals II: Majesty by Katharine McGee (Young Adult Fiction)
Note: This book was given to me as an advanced copy in exchange for an honest review.
I have to talk about American Royals II first because it’s easily the book I am most looking forward to this fall. (Good thing it comes out so early!)
Majesty picks up right where American Royals left off (spoiler alerts from here on): the King has died, Beatrice was just named Queen, and everything is falling apart for basically everyone. What I loved about Majesty though is that because of the death of the King, you really get to see (almost) everyone be forced into growing and evolving.
Each character takes control of their life in some way and the development they go through is truly amazing. Samantha especially really shines through in Majesty and I love getting to see her going after what she wants, but also growing up at the same time. The only character we don’t get to hear much from in Majesty is Jefferson, but could that be a small nod (and chuckle) to the fact that he’s now the spare? I can’t say that I missed him that much though, I was having too much fun watching the women shine.
I read this book in one sitting and I can’t for another book in this series!
